Inter House Turban Tying Competition

Inter House Turban Tying Competition An Inter House Turban Tying Competition was organized at Amrit Indo Canadian Academy, Ludhiana. The competition was open to students of Class VIII onwards, and around 50 students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their dexterity and skill in tying turbans in different traditional styles. The participants were judged on the basis of the neatness of their turban tying as well as their awareness of the history and significance of the turban. Ishwarjot Singh of Class IX secured the First Position, while Sehajpreet Singh of Class X, Harmandeep Singh of Class IX-E, and Bhupinder Singh of Class X secured the Second, Third, and Fourth Positions, respectively. On this occasion, the Principal, Ms. Jaskiran Kaur, emphasized that such activities play a vital role in connecting the younger generation with their rich cultural heritage, traditions, and values. The President, S. Harminder Singh, and the Director, S. Navjot Singh, appreciated the enthusiasm and exceptional skills displayed by the participants and felicitated the winners.
