Details: Amritians proved their preeminence yet again as their U-14, U-17 and U-19 kickboxers registered a smashing victory in the Punjab School District Kickboxing Tournament held at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Jagraon.
Competing with 8 opponents, U-14 boys won2 gold and 1 silver as U-17 team bagged 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals. U-19 kickboxers left nothing for their opponents by laying their hands on gold medals in all three weight categories.This optimal performance made 8 out of total 11 kickboxers of the academy qualify for the State Level Tournament.
The Principal, Ms Jaskiran Kaur, was all praise for this exquisite performance of the students. Mr. Navjot Singh, the Director of the academy, expressed his ecstasy over there markable performance of the teams whereas the president, S. Harminder Singh expressed his conviction that the boys would definitely replicate their consistent performance in the state level too.
