LSSW Punajbi Fest




Details: Amritians stamped their supremacy yet again in the Ludhiana Sahodya School (West) Punjabi Fest held at Eastwood International Public School, by lifting the Overall Trophy. Competing with about 290 participants from 29 schools, Mandeep Kaur of class XII bagged 2nd prize in poem recitation. The poem was penned down by the participant whereas Smilepreet Kaur of class IX was adjudged as the 2nd runner up in the declamation contest. In calligraphy, Harsimar Kaur of class V and Kamaljeet Kaur of class X claimed 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. Ramanpreet Kaur of class II laid her hands on the second prize in poster making. The Principal, Ms Jaskiran Kaur, was all praise for the tireless efforts put in by the students and teachers as well. Mr Navjot Singh, the Director of the academy, congratulated the winners for their optimal performance whereas the President of the academy, S. Harminder Singh Ji, expressed his blissfulness over the fact that the students of the academy have passion for mother tongue.
