Details: Apart from the Republic Day celebrations, 26 January remained a day to be remembered for long for Amritians as their class 1 student, Sienna Chopra set a world record by climbing the Mount Meru within 39 hours. Sienna is now the first girl who at the age of 6 achieved this milestone. Sienna left Mumbai on 21 January and began her mission to conquer the highest mountain of Africa on 22 January. Overcoming all the adverse weather conditions she had to face on her way, she finally unfurled the Tricolour at the height of 17000 feet and became the youngest girl to do so.
