Details: An Inter House Turban Tying Competition was held at Amrit Indo Canadian Academy. It was a competition open for the students of class VIII onwards, where 50 students showcased their dexterity and skills in tying different style turbans. The students were adjudged winners on the yardstick of neatness and awareness about the history of turban. Ishwarjot Singh of class IX bagged first position whereas Sehajpreet Singh of X, Harmandeep Singh of IX-E and Bhupinder Singh of class X got the second, third and fourth positions respectively. The school Principal Ms.Jaskiran kaur highlighted the fact that such activities go a long way in adhering our present generation with their roots and traditions The President S.Harminder Singh and the Director S.Navjot Singh appreciated the skills of the participants and felicitated them as well.
