Details: Amrit Indo Canadian Academy participated in Handball Tournament at G.A.V public School in Kangra (H.P) under 17 Girls category at north Zone. It was a proud moment to be selected for National level to be held in Delhi, under the supervision and mentorship of their coach, S. Arwinder Singh. Our Team Stars are Manisha, Jasmine Kaur , Mandeep Kaur, Gursimar Kaur ,Jasmine Kaur Khalsa, Harshpreet Kaur, Arshpreet Kaur, Amrit Noor Kaur, Shreya, Jashandeep.Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur & Simarjot Kaur.
Around 15 schools gave their participation. It was a neck to neck competition. It was a two day tournament. The team progressed leaps and bounds at the end of the tournament
The school Principal Ms. Jaskiran kaur felicitated the girls team and gave importance to girl education. The president of the School, S. Harminder Singh felt great to have such team. The Director of the school, S. Navjot Singh extended his gratitude towards the team and its coach and expected the same in future.
