Details: Amritians stamed their supremacy yet again in the State Kickboxing Championship held at St. Peter Convent School, Amritsar by laying their hands on 12 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals.
The girl kickboxers, Tehleen Maan (IX), Diksha (IX), Manjot Kaur (XII) and Navjot Kaur (XII) clinched gold medals whereas Tejasveer Maan (VI), Mitali Sharma (VI) and Gurpreet Kaur (VII) claimed silver medals leaving all their 15 opponents stunned at their performance.
Following the same footprints, Amrinder Singh (IV), Kunal (VI), Umesh (VIII), Harman Singh (IX), Abhishek Kaushik (IX), Sparsh (X) and Anmoldeep Singh (XII) won gold , Harsh Thakur (VII) and Avtar Singh (XII) claimed silver and Ekam Singh (VII), Gursharanoreet Singh (VI) and Harman (VIII) clinched bronze medals in the boys category.
The gold medalists of the academy have qualified for the National Level Tournament to be held in Dehradun.The Principal, Ms. Jaskiran Kaur, was all praise for this exquisite performance of the kickboxers of the academy. Mr. Navjot Singh, the Director of the academy, congratulated the winners on their consummate performance whereas the President, s. Harminder Singh, lauded the painstaking efforts of the students and their coach saying that the students would exhibit the same performance at the national level too.
